Senior Accountant

What You’ll Do:

  • Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you’ll maintain and record business transactions for multiple entities.
  • Balance ledgers and reconcile accounts.
  • Prepare reports to show receipts, expenditures, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues.
  • Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices, as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot software related issues.
  • Follow & improve bookkeeping procedures.
  • Prepare accurate, timely monthly & annual financial statements.

Accounting Technician

  • Payment posting, inter-company adjustments and performing bank deposits.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, manage collections, and follow up on outstanding accounts in a timely manner via phone call or email.
  • Record detailed collection notes from discussions with customers using MS Dynamics GP.
  • Generate & distribute of monthly statements to customers.
  • Liaise with customers regarding AR queries & discrepancies.
  • Liaise with other internal departments on collection efforts and providing relevant reports.

Senior Supervisor – Warehouse

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility to work non-traditional shifts as needed.

About the Role:

This role will oversee the entire CDS1 Operation, with main focus on the Freezer Division. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for next challenge and understands how to lead through people.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work in the freezer on a regular basis.
  • Coach and guide team members toward improved key performance indicators using the appropriate leadership methods. Involved in evaluating employee performance.
  • Support the equipment training and assistance to new warehouse associates.
  • Improve the performance of various accounts.
  • Lead the audit and improvement of product placement within a specified area / account.
  • Ensure loading/unloading complies with food safety SOPs.
  • Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts to grain efficiencies.

Forklift Operator

  • Accurately and efficiently picking various orders.
  • Inspect all items for defects or mislabels.

Forklift Operator – Saskatoon

About the Team:

CDS is expanding our warehouse operations presence into the Prairies by opening a facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Positions in SK will provide the perfect opportunity to join a growing company as we expand into our new SK facility where we will continue our mandate of servicing our customers in a timely, accurate and safe manner. The culture of CDS is that we wear many hats and roll up our sleeves to get the work done, regardless of our job title. All SK roles will report directly to the Operations Supervisor based on-site in Saskatoon, with overall direction coming from Richmond, BC team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to a safe, and team-friendly work environment while striving for excellent customer service.
  • Accurately and efficiently pick orders and receive inventory, using electric Material Handling Equipment.
  • Operate a hand-held  RF Scanner, and/or a Voice-Pick Headset.
  • Inspect all goods upon arrival or departure from the warehouse to ensure quality and food safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory stock levels and participate in inventory control cycle counts.
  • Daily loading / unloading of 5-ton and tractor trailers using appropriate equipment.
  • Safely operate Material Handling Equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for general cleaning or maintenance.
