Inventory & Customer Support Coordinator

About the Role:

You are a team-oriented individual who is passionate about customer service.  You will be responsible for supporting all internal and external customers with the primary objective to foster customer loyalty and partnership by providing high-quality interactions and business solutions. You are outgoing and friendly, take an analytical approach to work, thrive under pressure, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a relationship owner and primary contact for all customer communications.
  • Maintain good working relationship with customers, handling inquiries promptly, courteously, and effectively
  • Process and input customer orders in WMS
  • Maintain inventory accuracy in the system daily
  • Maintain current knowledge of product and services.
  • Evaluate and respond quickly to customers’ requests.
  • Proactively work with internal teams to ensure customers are kept up-to-date on order status

  • Provide product and service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

Administrative Assistant – Contract Management Team

About the Team:

As part of the Finance department, the contract management team is committed to ensuring the compliance with various agreements and insurance requirements of the company run smoothly and that we maintain healthy relationships with our customers and vendors.  Dedicated to finding the best technology solution for our needs today and into the future, this team welcomes ideas!  We believe in focusing to get the job done, while fostering a fun team atmosphere.

What You’ll Do:

  • Document Maintenance (Warehouse agreement contracts and addendums, Bailee/Indemnity agreements, claims, and other external communication letters to Customers). Using premade templates, gather and verify accuracy of information to create documents.
  • Follow up with customers to completion.
  • Maintain electronic records of important documents and customer information.
  • Run reports to assist internal team and customers with questions related to accounts.
  • Work with multiple department leaders to troubleshoot issues and gather information.
  • Use of Word, Excel, DocuSign, SQL Server Reporting Services, Adobe, and other programs.
  • Other administrative tasks as required.

Warehouse Associate – Saskatoon

About the Team:

CDS is expanding our warehouse operations presence into the Prairies by opening a facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Positions in SK will provide the perfect opportunity to join a growing company as we expand into our new SK facility where we will continue our mandate of servicing our customers in a timely, accurate and safe manner. The culture of CDS is that we wear many hats and roll up our sleeves to get the work done, regardless of our job title. All SK roles will report directly to the Operations Supervisor based on-site in Saskatoon, with overall direction coming from Richmond, BC team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to a safe, and team-friendly work environment while striving for excellent customer service.
  • Accurately and efficiently pick orders and receive inventory, using electric Material Handling Equipment.
  • Operate a hand-held  RF Scanner, and/or a Voice-Pick Headset.
  • Inspect all goods upon arrival or departure from the warehouse to ensure quality and food safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory stock levels and participate in inventory control cycle counts.
  • Daily loading / unloading of 5-ton and tractor trailers using appropriate equipment.
  • Safely operate Material Handling Equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for general cleaning or maintenance.

Warehouse Associate – Graveyards

Location: Richmond, British Columbia

Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Eligible for $2/hour shift premium.

What You’ll Do:

  • Daily loading / unloading products from trucks, by hand (hand-bombing) and also with a machine.
  • Responsible for floor-loaded container unloading and assembling pallets, by hand.
  • Hand-bomb (unload by hand) up to 25kg of boxed products from inbound containers.
  • Inspect all items for defects or mislabels.
  • Identify all products and locations by using vendor, item #s, pack size, code dates, and descriptions to ensure product is moved to correct location.
  • Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in a fast-paced environment from time to time.

Forklift Operator – Freezer

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for accurately and efficiently picking various orders throughout the warehouse, specifically the Freezer, but also the cooler areas as needed.
  • Inspect all items for defects or mislabels.
  • Identify all products and locations by using vendor, item #s, pack size, code dates, and descriptions to ensure product is moved to correct location.
  • Daily loading of product from trucks.
  • Safely operate a counterbalance and reach truck in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible for general cleaning or maintenance.

Container Associate

Location: Richmond, British Columbia

Shift: Flexible, on-call

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for floor-loaded container unloading and assembling pallets.
  • Hand-bombing product.
  • De-stuffing containers.

Who You Are:

  • Excited for an opportunity to make approximately $25+ per hour!
    Pay-per-container structure:

    • Starting at $110 for 20 ft container.
    • Starting at $135 for 40 ft container.
    • Pay is split between team, if more than one person is booked to a trailer.
  • Hours – very flexible; no guaranteed hours.  We’ll do our best to flex around your personal schedule.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Detail oriented and able to maintain high standards of accuracy.
  • Able to work in a refrigerated environment.
  • Able to follow and understand verbal and written directions.
  • Forklift experience an asset, but not required.
  • Prior experience in food products warehousing is an asset.
  • Able to pass criminal background check.
