My journey began with humble roots in Saskatchewan. In 1990, driven by entrepreneurial spirit, I set up shop in Vancouver with just one truck and two employees, delivering pianos! Even from the start, my focus was on service, and I took a hands-on approach to leadership. That mindset fueled our rapid growth, leading to our first facility on Annacis Island.
In 1995, I founded CDS to provide a one-stop, multi-temperature, food-accredited warehousing solution for the food and beverage industry. Over time, we expanded strategically, adding transportation and a wide range of logistics services to become a fully integrated, single-source logistics company.
Our most significant asset is our people; We have surrounded ourselves with a talented group through respect, diversity, and maintained a fun environment. “I don’t ask my staff to do something I would not do myself” is a rule I follow diligently.
Today, CDS is proud to be a leading asset-based logistics operator in Canada, with services in over 28 locations through our trusted network of local partners.
